There has been an increasing interest in the development of computational models inspired by immunological principles. Some models intended to mimic the mechanismsin the immune system, and others trying to design computational techniques using the concepts of immunological processes and functionalities. In this seminar, I will review some concepts of immunological computation introduced in the book "Immunological Computation: Theory and Applications" (D. Dasgupta and L.F. Nino, 2009).
