About 40 years ago M.Smith presented a concept: “Two fold cost of sexual reproduction”. Thereafter many hypotheses have been made for the reason of sexual reproduction. However general answer has not been found yet. I search for the question with two simulations. Through simulations I find sexual reproduction has more advantage concerning its diversity than it is believed. If competition occurs between sexual and asexual populations, sexual would win because of its diversity. However the real reason of sexual reproduction is competitiveness of sexual due to its diversity. Distribution of both sexual and asexual could be explained by this way of thinking, I think.
