A geometrical view of organ morphogenesis (I): Information-geometrical interpretation of positional information coding.

In order to understand organ morphogenesis as a system, I aim to develop a mathematical description of different characteristics of the system such as mechanical, geometrical, and information-theoretical aspects by a common mathematical framework. In this talk, I will show some preliminary results about an information-geometrical approach to positional information coding during morphogenesis.
