Functional forms of interaction change evolutionary dynamics of
cooperation
|
The evolution of cooperation level, "how much individuals invest for cooperation", have been well studied by using adaptive dynamics. However, previous studies generally assumed that the effect of cooperation on the fitness can be represented by a function of total amount of investment from interacting individuals. In this talk, I show that some alternative functional forms can be possible depending on substantial relationship among individuals, and the difference of functional form change the evolutionary dynamics of cooperation level dramatically. |
