n the natural world, many species of insects, birds and fishes have swarms that are characteristic to each group. In order to understand these swarms, many studies based on computer simulation have been developed. Especially, the three simple rules of Boids (Reynolds, 1987), such as Alignment, Cohesion and Separation, are very useful for simulation of simple collective behavior. In this seminar, I introduce swarm behavior with various aspects and show the classification of school type of virtual fish based on Boids rules according to the variations of effect of the rules.
