Sexual reproduction is dominant in the actual field. But the nature of the forces responsible for the maintenance of sexual reproduction have not been cleared. It is said that “Red queen hypothesis” is the closest to the truth. But general solution has not been submitted yet. I look for an answer through the simulations. One is what M.Smith made. It is a simulation to explore the adaptability of the sexual and asexual populations in the changing environment. Another one is what investigate how the sexual and asexual population maintain and reduce the number of phenotypes. I think sexual population would be advantageous if there were competition between both populations. This thinking should also apply to the distribution of the sexual and asexual populations (individuals). That is, asexual reproduction could survive if there were no competition or selection.
