TOWARDS A BIFURCATION THEORY FOR ADAPTIVE DYNAMICS
Theoretical Biology, University of Leiden, The Netherlands
Michel Durinx
Adaptive Dynamics wants to study the evolution of
traits of lifeforms.
This evolution is assumed to be driven by rare, and
small mutations of the characteristic traits.
I will try to give a simple idea of the basics of
Adaptive Dynamics, and explain my work on the
classification of ESS bifurcation patterns in this
context.
